Before getting started, I would like to introduce myself and some aspects of how this blog will be managed. My name is Fernando de Miguel . I was born in the United States but I was raised in Pamplona, Spain. I studied a 5-years degree in Biochemistry at the University of Navarra and later a master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Madrid, Spain. After achieving my master's degree, I came back to Pamplona where I coursed my Ph.D. thesis about the molecular biology of lung cancer in the Center for Applied Medical Research. I currently continue studying lung cancer as a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University in New Haven, CT.
